I gave up.Quicken for Mac is the excellent Finance Application which has a lot of features for maintaining the finance. Sure they added that mobile app stuff and the online billers, but the mobile app corrupted my file once so I don't use it anymore, and the online billers stop working after two months and have to be set up again. I'm not going accept a price increase that is in excess of the rate of inflation or doesn't come with a tangible improvement in functionality.Īs far as I can tell, Quicken 2004 through 2017 all seemed about the same. The subscription version of Quicken is unusable because of the nag screen when it expires. You call it ranting, I call it telling others to be smart with their money. I bought it because it was on sale, had a rebate, and I had a coupon at Staples that made it cheaper than Deluxe.
